BOSS is made by LampyrLabs, LLC. These steps apply to the BOSS app on Android and iPhone and to BOSS on the web, because they all use the same account.
1. Delete your account
- Email support@bossforteams.com from the email address you sign in to BOSS with.
- Use the subject "Delete my BOSS account" and include the name of your company in BOSS.
- We reply to confirm it is you, then delete your account and tell you when it is done, within 30 days.
If your company still uses BOSS, we let the workspace owner know, because the work you did in the workspace belongs to the company.
2. Delete a whole workspace
A workspace owner can end the company's use of BOSS:
- Cancel the subscription in BOSS from Settings, then Billing.
- Email support@bossforteams.com from the owner's email address and ask us to delete the workspace. Ask for an export first if you want a copy.
3. What is deleted and what is kept
- Deleted with your account: your sign-in, name, email address, password, two-step sign-in settings, links to your other company sign-ins, and your personal settings and alerts.
- Kept by your company: the work you added to the workspace, such as to-dos, issues, priorities and meeting notes, stays with the company, because it belongs to them. Your name is no longer tied to your account.
- Deleted with a workspace: all of the workspace content, removed from the live service within 90 days. Copies in backups are removed as the backups expire.
- Kept for legal reasons: billing records and audit logs, for as long as tax, accounting and other laws require.
